Thanksgiving Blessings and Tavern News

Hello, dear friends,

With the sudden death of my uncle this week, I'm closing Mary's Tavern until after the Thanksgiving holiday. My uncle truly loved Scotland (it was in his DNA), and was proud of my accomplishments as an author. Whenever he'd send me a text, he managed to always include an emoji of the Scottish flag at the end of his messages. His life stories were detailed and immense, and he will be greatly missed in our family.

Recently, I was looking for a recipe and came across the one he'd written out for me. His enchilada recipe is a simple dish, and delicious! He enjoyed cooking and definitely loved his single malt whiskey.

I'm wishing everyone a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends. Cherish the day and every day, as well.
