Friday Feast | A Time To Pamper
Welcome to Friday Feast in the Tavern. As the summer has turned into autumn, and my hubby is recovering from his surgeries, I'm taking more time for self pampering. Even if I get in some reading time, I consider it a win! Goodness, I'll take those 15 minutes for catching up on a chapter or perusing through a magazine.
Now what about true pampering? I don't have the luxury to spend time at a spa, yet I can capture quiet moments with a cup of tea, a cookie, and rest with a pumpkin facial mask. You all know how much I love this time of year, especially pumpkin season. Fortunately, this recipe is one where you can purchase canned pumpkin almost year-round. This mask, combined with other simple ingredients, is a great source of vitamins and gives my complexion a wonderful glow.
I've been using this mask for years. If you have a favorite one, please share by sending me an email at: moirarose415@yahoo.com
I'd love to feature it here in the Tavern.
Pumpkin Face Mask
4 teaspoons canned plain pumpkin
1 teaspoon honey
½ teaspoon heavy cream (or half and half)
Mix all ingredients and apply to face. Leave on for 10 minutes and then rinse.
***Optional: I like to put this in the refrigerator for an hour. The soothing cool mask always feels wonderful and helps to tighten pores.
