Medieval Monday | DRAGON KNIGHT'S RING
Welcome to Medieval Monday and the last installment of our ongoing theme this summer of Bad Guys and Villains. I hope you've enjoyed these snippets from the talented group of medieval romance authors. We end with my own book, Dragon Knight's Ring. Have you been following along with all my snippets involving the evil druid, Lachlan? To be entered to win a signed print copy of my book, Dragon Knight's Ring, leave a comment. I'll announce the winner next Monday, September 9th. Enjoy!
Meggie shielded her eyes, but she did not fear these beasts. They were each a part of her brothers, and the energy swirled around them.
Filling her body with her own power, she blocked out all others, except one. Adam.
Meggie waved her hand outward, lifting the book into the air. The pages rapidly opened for her.The light of the words shimmered, and she ran a finger down the gilded page, emblazing their meaning within her mind. Time no longer existed. The veil between all realms opened for only her. Time and space but one entity.
And Meggie knew the moment had come.
If you've missed any snippets (I've placed them in order), hop on over to these blogs:
Blurb:
Crusader, Adam MacFhearguis is on one last quest to the standing stones in Scotland where he seeks to bury the past. However, a silent prayer sends him to an unknown future and to his beloved Meggie. When he uncovers a shocking revelation, Adam questions everything about the woman he thought he knew and loved. He may have traveled the veil of ages, but time is now his enemy.
Margaret MacKay lives a life in the future without the memories of her past—her death. When Adam arrives at her door confessing he knows her, she is confused and wary. With each passing day, she yearns to learn more from this stranger. Yet, when a truth is revealed, can she trust the man to unlock the chains from her mind and heart?
Will love free the bonds to unite the two lovers who were doomed centuries ago? Or will evil finally claim victory over the Dragon Knights?
